Nick Pavonetti

Nick Pavonetti is the Chief Operating Officer of Bison Renewable Energy Partners. BREP manages a private equity fund that makes early stage investments in utility scale renewable energy developments throughout the United States. Nick has relationships with solar, wind, biomass and thermal developers from coast to coast. These projects range in size from 5 to 400 megawatts.

Prior to his work in renewable energy, Nick’s career spans 40 years in the banking and real estate industries. As an officer of a JP Morgan Chase affiliate, Nick provided capital market services to developers of large scale real estate projects including the 55 story CNA Tower in Chicago and the million sq. ft. Greenway Plaza in Houston.  As an independent commercial real estate broker, Nick arranged the sale and/or lease of more than 1 million sq. ft. of office space.

Nick founded the development management practice for the Beck Group, a major construction firm in Tampa, FL, and led the successful development of several large condominium and office projects. Nick also started his own development company and created various housing projects in St. Petersburg, FL.

In an effort to give back to the community, Nick continues to work as a consultant to various Florida nonprofit organizations – helping them develop affordable housing.
